I hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling awarded by the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB) and am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). This means I work in line with their Ethical Framework and am committed to providing a safe, professional, and respectful service.

I’m currently in my second year of an MA in Trauma Informed Practice at the University of Nottingham. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate, am fully insured, and take part in regular professional supervision to ensure I’m offering the best possible support to my clients.

I believe it’s important to keep learning and developing my skills so that I can continue to provide effective and informed support. I regularly attend Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshops and have undertaken extensive further training in areas such as working with your inner child, trauma bonding in relationships, anxiety, suicide prevention, attachment issues, adverse childhood experiences and child abuse, trauma, rape and sexual violence trauma and childhood incest and sexual abuse.

I am especially interested in how we can begin to teach children about consent. I believe that the ability to ask for consent starts in childhood and that feeling powerless as a child can affect our ability to set healthy boundaries later in life.
